Meatpacking District Engagement Session: Tina + Amit

Photography has introduced me to some very interesting people with some very interesting stories. I’m glad my journey has come across the likes of these two, Tina and Amit; their story is certainly one for the books…inspiring to say the least. Let’s just say, thousands of miles and many many years apart, and these two still managed to match in the same residency programs; after their wedding, I’ll let you in on a bit more. Highline Engagement Session: Mouazam + Fareeha

It rained, it was cloudy, then it was sunny.

Still, Moazam and Fareeha rocked this session! We wandered about on the trail of the beautiful Highline and stumbled upon some beautiful (not so) vacant locations amidst heavy pedestrian traffic in the middle of a beautiful May day in NYC. Can’t wait to spend a day with these two on their wedding day soon! Enjoy!

Brooklyn Bridge Engagement Session: Sushma + Sanjeev

I rarely get the opportunity to photograph at sunrise; so I jumped at the opportunity when Sushma and Sanjeev mentioned The Brooklyn Bridge as one of their locations. I’ve had my fair share of brides give me the ok to go the extra mile for a great photo opp, but when a couple is excited to start at 5:45 am…that’s determination. We wandered towards the Brooklyn Heights Promenade which was a short walk from the bridge where the warm glow of the sun and soft whisper of the wind paved the way for a chilly start.

(Determined) Sushma was dressed for a summer day and still ready to rock this session with Sanjeev. They both trooped through the brisk early morning for an awesome engagement session! Coffee was well deserved! Thanks a lot guys! Hope you enjoy!

FUN FACT: After living in NYC for almost 19 years, this was my first time on the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s official, I need to be a tourist of my own city.

Prospect Park Engagement Session: Mireille + Abubakr

Meet Mireille and Abubakr, a couple of tree climbing, law-breaking citizens…I’m only half kidding (they did climb a tree). We welcomed spring with an engagement session in Prospect Park; Cloudy, breezy, and a park free of pedestrians. Perfect! All that was left to do was have a good time…We nailed it! Enjoy!
